We've done our best to group opportunities for ease of navigation, but many of our jobs defy strict categorization, so it may be worth your while to scan all of our categories. Also, please keep in mind positions are grouped by type of role, not by type of company, and often opportunities are filled too quickly to even make it to our job board. More info about our categories.

In terms of the types of companies we work with, the vast majority of our clients are in new media and Internet technology. And other than a few anomalies, the rest consist of the design, PR and ad shops shaping the new media economy.

NY jobseekers, be sure to keep your eyes on the NY job board as our newest office continues to ramp up -- meanwhile, we encourage you to check out San Francisco's and Los Angeles' open opportunities to get a general sense of what you can expect when we really get rolling.

And for Beantown residents or folks migrating in that direction, keep an eye out for BrainTrust/Boston, set to open for business in mid-Fall 2000. [details]

The best and fastest way to apply for any and all BrainTrust opportunities is to fill out our brief online signup. Although we'd really, really prefer you register with us over the Web, you can also e-mail your cover letter and resume in ASCII format (pasted into the body of your e-mail) to , or .

Thanks, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

BRAINTRUST DIRECTOR OF CLIENT SERVICES AND OPERATIONS

In the midst of tremendous expansion, including our brand new New York office and a Boston launch planned for Fall 2000, BrainTrust is eager to bring a Director of Client Services and Operations on board to help drive BrainTrust's continued success. As a key member of a fast-paced, rapidly-growing, entrepreneurial team, you'll play a strategic and tactical role in building BrainTrust's offline expansion, including overseeing new office rollouts and in-house training, and will manage the intersection of all large-scale client service and account management-driven operations projects, from facilitating multi-city communication to streamlining company-wide client service processes. Key challenges will include developing and administering an internal account management training program; managing from soup to nuts the selection, set up, team building, launch and integration of expansion offices; overseeing the effectiveness of each office's account management efforts and ensuring multi-city clients receive cohesive, well-managed client service; and planning and executing localized and company-wide client and associate driven relationship-building initiatives. As BrainTrust continues its aggressive offline expansion, this opportunity will most likely split into two roles: one focused on managing our network of localized offices, the other with an emphasis on orchestrating our physical expansion.

The ideal candidate will be incredibly sharp, articulate, client service-focused, well-presented, self-motivated and able to thrive in a hectic, hyper-growth environment. Additionally, you'll boast a minimum of four years' experience in a client services and project management role; have proven expertise building, training and managing teams; and experience launching large-scale projects from the ground-up, both on a strategic and tactical level. The ability to problem-solve and reach quick resolution; excellent communication, consensus-building and team-motivating skills; an energetic, upbeat and laid-back personality; and a four-year degree are also an absolute must.

As always, BrainTrust offers a casual, organic work environment with a tremendous opportunity to play a key role in driving our ongoing growth. The starting salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience, and benefits include stock options, company and performance based quarterly bonuses, and a standard insurance offering.
